Army Public School, Ranchi was opened at the new location in the year 2008 under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), New Delhi. The school is presently situated at Dipatoli Cantt., Ranchi. The School occupies a huge campus with a picturesque green environment making the atmosphere congenial for learning. The class rooms are spacious, well ventilated and well equipped, thus enhancing effective teaching and learning. Additional facilities of lab, Library, Music and SUPW rooms are available. Computer Education is a part of our curriculam. Technology Aided Learning (TAL) is an integral part of teaching. The Campus offers an enviable environment for staff and students.

Since its very inception in April 1993, Army School Ranchi has embraced the noble mission of providing quality education to the children of defence personnel, guarding the nations border vigilantly with pride and honour.  The seed that was sown 19 years ago with so much hope and expectation was well nurtured and grew over the years into a sprightly sapling and later on into a firm and sturdy plant.
